Odds: The odds displayed in our reports are a snapshot captured at the time of processing. They represent the best available prices at that moment, but markets move constantly. Always check current odds with your bookmaker before placing any bets.
Today's Best Bet: This is our top pick of the day — the horse with the highest algorithm score among all selected winners, filtered slightly for both odds and minimum points gap. It serves as a teaser for non-subscribers on the main page.
Win Tips: These are horses selected by our algorithm that meet profitable winning criteria. The selection is based purely on the horse's chance of winning, without factoring in market odds or value considerations.
Wagering / Value Tips: These are Win Tips filtered through our value-based strategy. They combine strong winning probability with favourable market prices, representing our most profitable betting approach — the same strategy I use myself.
Fair Odds ($): The calculated 'true' odds based on our algorithm's assessment. We convert our underlying scores into a win probability, then express that as odds. When market odds are higher than Fair Odds, there may be value in the bet.
Win Probability (%): The calculated percentage chance of a horse winning the race according to our algorithm. For example, a horse with 25% win probability is expected to win roughly 1 in 4 similar races.
Delta: The difference between the current market odds and our calculated Fair Odds. A positive delta indicates the market is offering better odds than our model suggests — potentially representing value. The larger the delta, the greater the perceived edge.
Staking: The recommended number of units to bet when following our Wagering/Value strategy. This is calculated using a modified Kelly Criterion approach, which factors in edge size and win probability to optimise bet sizing while managing risk.
